Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
v1.1 (13 May 2020):- Fixed the message displayed at startup if the Backup Memory is too full to
hold a save file, which had accidentally been left untranslated. Thanks to ran
on the RHDN forums for reporting this.
- Added support for the common "split BIN" format used by certain archival
sites to the patching process.
- Miniscule art touch-ups (e.g. subtitle outlines that had a few pixels
missing).
- Various small translation fixes and tweaks, courtesy of vivify93 and mzlab:
- Corrected one of Zoisite's lines: during the scene at Naru's house, he
should have referred to the Black Crystal rather than the Silver Crystal.
- One of Queen Beryl's lines should have referred to Tuxedo Mask choosing
Serenity over her; it said the opposite instead.
- Removed a stray "onii-san" that had been mistakenly left in the
no-honorifics version of the patch.
- Changed instances of "akuryo taisan" to "evil spirit, begone" in the
no-honorifics edition of the patch.
- Changed Rika Fukami's name in the credits to "Rica Fukami", which seems to
be how she styles her name in English.
- A few extremely minor changes to wording here and there.
Following the Makai Tree incident and the departure of Ail and An, the five Sailor Senshi enjoy a newfound period of peace. With no enemies to fight, they return to their colorful, but ordinary, daily lives. But one night, Luna and Artemis sense several mysterious shadows releasing dark energy – energy like that of a Youma. Could the vanquished Dark Kingdom have somehow returned? The Senshi have dark secrets to uncover, and enemies old and new alike to face...if they can ever stop goofing off at the arcade.
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon) for the PC-Engine Super CD-ROM² system is a 1994 visual novel based on the famous manga/anime franchise of the same name. A self-described "adventure-style digital comic", it features an original story set between the Makai Tree and Black Moon arcs of the Sailor Moon R anime. All five of the original Sailor Senshi are available as playable characters, each with their own story; their five separate plots overlap to form a larger whole. It features extensive voice acting from the cast of the TV show, as well as two original vocal songs.
This patch fully translates the game into English, including subtitles for all audio-only scenes and songs. As a bonus, it also features a large gallery of unused scenes that were found on the disc while creating the translation.Credits:- Translation - TheMajinZenki
