The 12d Data Extension for AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2012 software enables data 12d® Model™ software by 12d Solutions Pty Ltd to be imported and used within AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 software.
The extension provides support for 12d Model ASCII files from all known versions of 12d Model software up to and including Version 9.0.
Supported 12d Model data types include:
- Alignments and profiles
- Super strings
- Drainage strings
- TIN’s
- Text strings

Autodesk Moldflow Adviser Design application for Pro_ENGINEER ( English )

Part designers using Pro/ENGINEER design software have the option of using the new Autodesk Moldflow Adviser Design application to evaluate their plastic part designs directly within the native CAD environment. Part designers can get feedback on the manufacturing feasibility, cost efficiency and environmental impact of each design decision, while designing the plastic product. The feedback is provided in near real time and is un-intrusive to the workflow.
The feedback is provided to the plastic part designer through easy to understand indicators which can change color from Green, when there are no problems identified, to Red when there are potential problems with the design. When a problem has been identified, the designer can drill down and get detailed information of the potential problem.
The application also includes a near real-time filling simulation that can be done directly on the cad model, and the location of weld lines and air traps can be highlighted. The default injection location can be moved, and the filling pattern, weld lines and air trap locations will update almost instantaneously. These capabilities allow designers to address design issues while the design is happening and corrections can be made easily and cheaply.
A valid license of Autodesk Moldflow Adviser 2012 is required for the application. Supported CAD systems include:

These software updates enable Vault functionality for use within Inventor LT Suites 2012 and AutoCAD LT 2012.
